Playing On Sports covers the graduates of 1,000 high schools located in Kansas and Missouri who compete in 11 sports in any of the 1,100 NCAA Division I, II, or III colleges and universities.
Our best athletes go on to play the sport they love in college. It is impossible to keep track of them because our lives are busy. And then there is the Transfer Portal. Contact is lost. Until now. Playing on Sports is the only publication that delivers so much information on so many athletes as they compete at the next level. No longer are they “Out of sight, out of mind”.
Every athlete is identified by their name, sport, position, class, high school, college, and collegiate conference.

A Look at NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball
What about “Wait your turn”? And “Be deferential”? Well, they don’t really fit in a meritocracy like competitive sports. Below are ten leaderboards. Allowing for a tie, there are 51 slots. Forty-two of those slots are filled by an underclassman. The breakdown is as follows:
Freshmen - 14
Sophomores - 20
Juniors - 8
Seniors - 9
This assures the excitement and top performances will continue for the foreseeable future.
Each of the Top Five in Minutes per Game are underclassmen, led by AJ Weston (Lincoln College Prep/Dean College) with his 38.1 minutes. AJ is also the top free-thrower at .893. When you look at the Top Five in Field Goal Percentage, you won’t find anyone older than a sophomore. Freshman Bobby Alford III (Christian Brothers/Principia College) leads at .573. Freshman AJ Weston uses his minutes on the floor well, as he leads this group in scoring with 20.7 points per game. A junior, Karl Moore, Jr. (Jennings/Webster University) is the top rebounder pulling down 8.5 per game.
The Total Assists leaders are all underclassmen. They are led by Andrew Kim (Pembroke Hill/Sarah Lawrence College) with 121 dishes for the season. His nine assists against Old Westbury on Jan. 30 ties him for 3rd most assists in a game. His 121 assists is easily the most in a season in program history. The prior record was 106.
Stopping the opponent from scoring is Karl Moore, Jr. (Jennings/Webster University) with 48 blocked shots and Jamie Calmese (Orchard Farm/Greenville University) with 44 steals.
See all the leaderboards below and 25 statistics for each of the 116 athletes on the attached spreadsheet.
