It's a Wrap! Men's Soccer-NCAA Division II
There may be fewer D II MSOC athletes, due to there being fewer MSOC programs at those schools, but the awards still roll in. All-American? Yes! Academic All-American? Yes! Come see who!
What is Playing On Sports?
Playing On Sports covers the graduates of 1,000 high schools located in Kansas and Missouri who compete in 11 sports in any of the 1,100 NCAA Division I, II, or III colleges and universities.
Our best athletes go on to play the sport they love in college. It is impossible to keep track of them because our lives are busy. And then there is the Transfer Portal. Contact is lost. Until now. Playing on Sports is the only publication that delivers so much information on so many athletes as they compete at the next level. No longer are they “Out of sight, out of mind”.
Every athlete is identified by their name, sport, position, class, high school, college, and collegiate conference.

And Now for the NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Athletes
The presence of many DII schools in Missouri and Kansas results in many local athletes staying closer to home. But these athletes also fan out over a dozen other states. From Texas to Florida. And all across the Upper Midwest.
Seven of them were named to their All-Conference teams, while one was named a Third-Team All-American.
Tim Smith (Lee’s Summit/Maryville University-MO) did it all this year. The midfielder completed his senior year in high fashion. He had four game winning goals which led to him being named First Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference. The College Sports Communicators (CSC) recognized him as an Academic All-American and the United Soccer Coaches made him a Third Team All-America honoree. That is getting it done on the field and in the classroom.
Also being named to the first time of the Great Lakes Valley Conference was Sam McIntosh (Blue Valley Northwest/Rockhurst University). Don’t miss what Tony Tocco, the Rockhurst Head Men’s Soccer Coach had to say about the freshman midfielder.
The High Schools
These Division II Men’s Soccer athletes come from 99 high schools throughout Missouri and Kansas. The high schools with the most graduates competing in NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer are:
Christian Brothers - 8
Blue Valley West - 7
St. Dominic - 7
Kickapoo - 7
Francis Howell - 6
Six schools with 5 each

The Spreadsheets
Don’t miss the spreadsheets attached at the end which contain eight biographical details along with 15 statistics for each of the 213 athletes and 18 additional statistics for each of the 19 goalies.
A note of clarification. The conference listed for each athlete is the one in which that sports team competes, not the conference in which most of the sports for that college competes. For example, the Fort Hays State Men’s Soccer athletes compete in the Great American Conference because the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletic Association does not offer competition in Men’s Soccer.
