It's a Wrap: Men's Soccer-NCAA Division III
The youth parade continues with the DIII Men. You will see the accomplished seniors in this article. And you will also see athletes you will see again, and again. Which of these do you know?
What is Playing On Sports?
Playing On Sports covers the graduates of 1,000 high schools located in Kansas and Missouri who compete in 11 sports in any of the 1,100 NCAA Division I, II, or III colleges and universities.
Our best athletes go on to play the sport they love in college. It is impossible to keep track of them because our lives are busy. And then there is the Transfer Portal. Contact is lost. Until now. Playing on Sports is the only publication that delivers so much information on so many athletes as they compete at the next level. No longer are they “Out of sight, out of mind”.
Every athlete is identified by their name, sport, position, class, high school, college, and collegiate conference.

And Now for the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Athletes
Thirty-one of these 138 athletes are highlighted below because they achieved at least one of the criteria for selection. Nineteen of those 31 were named to an All-Conference Team, with nine of those being on the First Team. Only, two of those nine are seniors. So, be sure to check back next year! Three were Conference Player of the Year, while these athletes placed in the their conference’s statistical Top Five 37 times. And while someone was being named conference player of the week in nine of the weeks, they were also in the classroom. Eleven of these athletes were named CSC Academic All-District.
A theme of this group is youth. As I noted, only two of the nine All-Conference honorees are seniors. Nolan (Piedimonte (Lee’s Summit North/Central College-IA) was named First Team American Rivers Conference as a freshman. Also, as a freshman, Talha Dizdarevic (Gateway Science Academy/Webster University) was awarded First Team honors in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC). Talha was also the SLIAC Newcomer of the Year.
Also honored was Eamon Dujakovich (Shawnee Mission West/Kenyon College) who earned North Coast Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Being named the SLIAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year was Ryan Schwenker (Eureka-MO/Fontbonne Univ.).
If you want to get a really good feel about these athletes, then take in the quotes from their collegiate coaches. When I asked, these coaches were very happy to speak up about this group of soccer players.
The High Schools
These Division III Women’s Soccer athletes come from 88 high schools throughout Missouri and Kansas. The high schools with the most graduates competing in NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer are:
Fort Zumwalt West - 6
Northwest-Cedar Hill - 6
Mehlville - 4
Ten Schools with 3

“Eamon is the kind of student-athlete every coach wants on their team. He’s well liked and respected by all, he does good work in the classroom, he’s available for every practice/game, he sets the standard for what an exceptional work rate on both sides of the ball looks like, and he executes the critical situations on both offense and defense. Other coaches see it too and it’s why he was named the Midfielder of the Year in the conference.”

Dom is a constant presence in the net and gives our team the confidence and comfort to play freely in front of him. He is a great shot stopper and makes a couple game changing saves almost every game, but the real advantage he provided us is that he has the technical ability of a field player, so we are comfortable playing to him to keep possession. He saved a PK with 3 minutes left at Westminster to secure a 1-1 tie.

Blake Jungman - Fifth Year - Defender - Raymore-Peculiar - Coe College - American Rivers Conference
Honorable Mention All-American Rivers Conference
Tim Jurado - Junior - Midfielder - Lindbergh - Fontbonne University - St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
First Team All-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
Tim has the highest work rate of any player in the program and is very driven. He brought something to this program that we were lacking with just his strong desire to win. He transitioned right into a very important role for us, and you would not know this was his first year with us by seeing him interact with and lead his teammates. He made a remarkable play to set up and assist on the game winning goal vs Greenville in the closing moments.

Brandon is a human highlight reel and “must see tv” every time he touches the ball. Just exceptionally creative and has put the team on his shoulders numerous times in his time here. He scored the game winning goal vs Lyon in the 82nd minute.

Second Team All-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
Conference Offensive Player of the Week
Conference No. 3 Goals Per Game - .500
Conference No. 4 Points Per Game - 1.06
Nik was massive for us this year. We were struggling to score early in the season and Nik was the one who really broke us out of our slump. He ended up being one of the top scorers in the conference. However, it wasn’t just the number of goals that was impressive but his strike rate. Nik didn’t have a bunch of chances each game. He made the most of every opportunity he had and that is the mark of a truly great goal scorer.

First Team All-American Rivers Conference

Nolan has been a great addition to the program. He offers something a little bit different on the pitch, he’s got pace to burn. He came in as a freshman and did everything we hoped he would do. He produced on the field, he’s a great kid off the field, and we are enjoying having him with the program right now.

Ryan is our captain and was the Co-Defensive Player of the Year in the conference. Always seems to be there to make a play when we need one and is our anchor in the backline.
