As we transition into the postseason, we will take a look at the leaderboards for DII Baseball. Due to the large number of athletes, we will look at the hitters and pitchers separately.

The Basketball Series
We will be wrapping up the Basketball season very soon. You won’t want to miss our comprehensive accounting of awards won and statistics generated. In each edition you will see, athlete by athlete, who earned what season honor, and who placed highly in a statistical category. You will see photos and hear from their collegiate coaches. You will also have complete season stats for every athlete from Missouri and Kansas who occupied a spot on an NCAA Basketball roster.
We include academic honors along with athletic honors. Some of these awards come a few weeks after the season is over. The wait is very worthwhile.

Highlighting Division II Baseball Hitting
Alex Epp (Maize South/William Jewell College) has proven again this year to be the dominant hitter from this area to play in the Division II. The Fifth Year player leads this group in Batting Average (.411), On Base Percentage (.536), and Slugging Percentage (.816). Just behind Alex, is RS-Sophomore Will Doherty (Francis Howell/Missouri Southern).
The Toughest to Strikeout has been Ryan Neise (Lafayette-Wildwood/Missouri Western) who has only struck out twice in 68 At Bats.
Beware of Blue Valley North grads on the base paths. The leading base stealer is a Junior, Matthew Brimacombe (Blue Valley North/Rockhurst Univ.) who as stolen 34 bases in 38 attempts. Right behind him is his high school and college teammate, Senior Caleb Adams (Blue Valley North/Rockhurst Univ.) who has arrived safely 27 times in 29 attempts.
