It's a Wrap. NCAA Division II WBB Post Season Honors and Numbers.
Individually, and as a group, the local ladies had incredible seasons in DII WBB. If there was a category, they led it. If there was a postseason team, they were on it. Athletically. Academically.

There were 174 Missouri and Kansas ladies playing DII WBB this year. They came from 119 high schools. Big schools like Wichita South and Olathe North. And small schools like Skyline and Wellington-Napoleon. They found basketball homes in 47 colleges in 12 conferences, all over the country. And they showed that they can shoot. Of those 47 schools, a local lady led in scoring 17 times.
These ladies are smart. Twenty-three were name Academic All-District, while one is an Academic All-American. Thirty ladies were named to an all-Conference team. We have a conference player of the year and a defensive player of the year. And we have an All-American. The future is bright with five having been named to their conference All-Freshman team, two of whom were their conference’s freshman of the year.
Statistics play a big roll in basketball. Fifteen times one of theses ladies led her conference in one of ten major statistics. They also were ranked in the top ten nationally in five statistical categories, as high as fourth in scoring and Assist/Turnover ratio. There is a spreadsheet at the end of this article with complete statistical data for every lady.
Listed below, in alpha sequence by last name, are 49 ladies who earned post season recognition. It is hard to single players out when the group is so accomplished. But, I will mention as having terrific years, Brionna Budgetts (Lincoln Prep/Missouri Western), Kaylee DaMitz-Holt (Skyline/Drury), Tre’Zure Jobe (Wichita South/Emporia State), Alex Kerr (St. Joseph’s Academy/Missouri S & T), Brooke Littrell (Green City/Central Missouri), Terrion Moore (Leavenworth/Drury), Antoinette Mussorici (St. Pius-KC/Maryville Univ.), Olivia Nelson (Liberty/Central Missouri), Harper Schreiner (Eudora/Pittsburg State), Lacy Stokes (Mount Vernon/ Missouri Southern), and Gracie Stugart (Francis Howell Central/Truman State). It was difficult to only mention 11. Please read threw this list of great basketball players. They have represented themselves, their schools, and this region very well.
Here they are. Enjoy their accomplishments.
