Derby product gets to the Semi-Finals in DII WBB

The season ends in the 36th game for Tor'e Alford

The Glenville State Pioneers had a great season. Their postseason run went all the way to the national semifinals. They dispatched the University of Tampa in the Quarterfinals, 78 to 68. Tor’e Alford (Derby) started the game and finished with 3 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. The semifinal game with undefeated and No. 1 ranked Ashland University was more difficult. The Pioneers fell 67 to 76. Tor’e started and contributed a rebound and a steal. I am sure the junior is already looking forward to next year.

Tor’e ended the season scoring 5.6 points per game while she shot 38% from beyond the arc. She also got 41 steals and 45 assists with only 18 turnovers.
